Your rights
You keep every right in songs you write at the retreat; the captured terms take no licence over your work — the retreat page’s own FAQ, captured August 11, 2026.

Two sessions at Hachland Hill outside Nashville — September 7 to 11 and September 14 to 18, 2026 — with the page showing six places left on the first and eight on the second when it was captured. The date on this card is the start of the earlier session.

When this card was captured it was the only retreat on the desk that answered the rights question outright, in its own FAQ: “You and your co-writers maintain 100% ownership of any songs you write at the retreat.” No administration arrangement, no publishing option, nothing to opt out of. Two other camps on this desk said nothing at all on the subject, and one published an administration deal with no term or split — so a plain sentence was worth naming as the exception it was.

The price is $2,195 early bird, down from $2,495, covering four nights’ shared lodging and every meal from Monday dinner to Friday breakfast; travel is your own and single rooms cost extra. The cancellation policy is published in full and is worth reading before you book: it converts your payment into credit towards another Andrea Stolpe offering on a sliding scale, from 100% at 90 days out down to 25% inside 30 days. Nowhere on the captured page is a cash refund offered at any notice.
