Composers are named in the eligibility line. The cost is a $40 nonrefundable application fee and, on acceptance, a $50 deposit the FAQs describe as refundable. There is no residency fee, and residents receive a $1,500 stipend — so a completed residency moves money towards the artist rather than away.
Sessions are two, four or six weeks. Lodging, meals and a private work space are provided; lunches and dinners are prepared Monday through Friday with provisions left for weekends, and linens and weekly housekeeping are included.
